Strange New World

These are for Mr. Thomas up in West Virginia. Me and Thom are always working on s l o w i n g things down.
The idea behind these two blades is to couple very hard thin veneers with low-density balsa to make a slow blade that, when coupled with LP, will cause severe reversal and other pip-funk and take as much off the incoming ball as possible.

First off we have an oversized Defensive blade.

Palo Maria - Balsa - Balsa - Balsa - Palo Maria

9.2mm

62 Grams

Balsa Handle (A first for me... I'm biting on Neubauer again)

Then we have a real freaky blade.

Defensive Rotor C-Pen

Zebrano-WRC-Balsa-WRC-Jatoba

5 mm

57 Grams

Jolan Strikes Again!

This is another one for JC in France.

Klondike

8.7mm

96 Grams (Handle heavy, should be a nice match up with Tenergy)

Finally... A J-PEN!

This will be a trial blade and join the shakehand and two c-pens in a journey around the world. A very big thanks to MyTT member Anton Chigurh who sent me a retired j-pen to be used as a template.

Klondike Structure

I believe the weight is in the high 60's/low 70's (can't remember off the top of my head).

Thanks again Anton!
